On August 31, 2026, Egyptian property-news outlet Tafsela reported that Hyde Park New Cairo owners sought explanations for allegedly delayed or cancelled service projects, including the hospital, school and places of worship, and for the status of the related sites; the report presents these as owners’ questions and complaints, not established findings, and notes that Hyde Park had not provided the requested official clarifications in the article.

Hyde Park Properties for Development reported that problems affecting Hyde Park New Cairo had caused delivery delays; it said the problems were solved and commissioned nine tenders to complete remaining residential, infrastructure and facility works, so this is historical evidence of delay rather than a current stalled-project finding.
