AI research over published reviews and resident comments. Scores are a model’s reading of opinion, not figures stated on a page, and nothing here feeds any number above it. The links under each block are the pages that research says it used. Based on available resident reviews of covered buildings. These are reported experiences, not independent building inspections, and may not represent all residents or properties.

Upkeep and response — belongs to whoever runs the building now. From 4 of 4 rated buildings here and 1313 in the market.
The market here is United States: every other developer whose head office is in the same country, because the review platforms residents use, and the service norms they judge against, move together within one. It is not a city, a sector or a price band. Read structure and living together. A developer above the market on structure and below it on living builds well and runs buildings badly, which is a fixable problem and a different one from building badly. Higher ratings are better; differences use the displayed scores rounded to one decimal. Rated buildings only, on both sides, and a structure or living score with no stated basis — no review count and no notes or links — is left out of both.

  • DELIVERY DELAY Reported February 6, 2021 As reported on February 6, 2021, Related no longer provided an estimated completion date for the full Hudson Yards project after the pandemic left the second phase—including eight planned buildings—on indefinite hold; the report also noted hundreds of unsold condominiums and a distressed retail component. This was a contemporaneous status report, not evidence that the project was permanently abandoned.
  • LEGAL Court decision August 10, 2022; lawsuit filed July 22, 2021 On August 10, 2022, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against Related alleging that affordable-housing residents at 15 Hudson Yards were segregated from luxury condominium residents through a separate entrance, lower floors, separate elevators and restricted amenities; the court held that the complaint failed to state a Fair Housing Act claim and dismissed the case.
  • SAFETY / LABOUR Reported February 18, 2020; claims arose from 2013 through early 2020 A February 18, 2020 report said court records showed nearly 150 personal-injury lawsuits by construction workers connected with the Hudson Yards site since 2013, including allegations involving falls, falling equipment, scaffolding and inadequate safety equipment; Related’s representative said the project involved about 25,000 workers and that high safety standards were maintained, while noting that many cases appeared to have settled or remained ongoing.

The market here is United States: every other developer whose head office is in the same country, because planning regimes and reporting norms move together within one. It is not a city, a sector or a size band. Read the two delay figures together. A median close to the market with a much better average means no single disaster; the reverse means one project is carrying the record. Time to deliver runs from the earliest start we hold to the completion itself — a construction start where a source gave one, otherwise a sales launch, otherwise the launch year read as its January. A handover the sources place only inside a year is read as that December, so a duration is the widest the record allows rather than the flattering end of it. Only delivered projects dated at both ends count, so it is taken over fewer projects than the delay figures, and a long build is not a fault: a tower is not a villa run. Sourced figures only, both sides, and values taken from documents held on file are excluded here — a developer who shares their records should not score better than one who does not.

Click a row in the chart to open a project, or a table row below to see its sources. The chart runs wider than the page where the record spans many years — scroll it sideways to follow a project to its handover. Every date we have is drawn. A hollow marker is only a launch year, not a date anyone published. No dates published means we looked and found none; dates not yet checked means we have not looked yet. Handing over is not finished — rows say which. A delay is shown when one source gives the promised date and another gives the real one, however rough: "2019" still counts, and the row shows how wide that is. Projects missing one of the two dates, or with sources that disagree, are left out of the figures. 1 dated statement is held back: a broker listing with no date on it, or a page with no year, cannot fix a date. 4 turned out to be about something else — a phase, a neighbour, the wider masterplan — and are marked off-subject.

—/ 10
9.5/ 10

The building-specific aggregate is 4.9/5 from 25 reviews, which converts to 9.7/10 under the stated curve and sets the anchor. The displayed reviews are overwhelmingly aspirational or pre-occupancy, while independent reporting identifies construction, stadium, train and aircraft noise; the score is therefore reduced modestly to 9.5 rather than treated as a mature resident-experience result.

+ New construction+ All-electric design+ High-efficiency HVAC+ Raised above floodplain+ Remediated former industrial site
− Formerly flood-prone setting
Not found in sources: No resident defect reports · No published maintenance history · No published plumbing complaints · No published lift complaints
+ Amenity-rich common spaces+ 24/7 attended lobby+ Onsite resident manager+ Direct transit access+ New landscaped courtyards
− Event and stadium noise− 7-train noise− Airport noise− Active construction nearby
Not found in sources: Limited post-occupancy evidence

No resident review located reported a structural or systems failure. Published project material describes all-electric buildings with high-efficiency HVAC, an insulated envelope, electric hot-water plant, and infrastructure remediation; these are design and delivery claims, not post-occupancy performance ratings. A contemporaneous report notes that the former area was historically flood-prone and polluted, while the new streets and buildings were raised out of the 100-year floodplain.

The displayed review set is strongly positive about the project’s appearance and intended lifestyle: one reviewer wrote, “Looks incredible,” while another said the building “has everything I need.” However, these comments are largely pre-occupancy or lottery-stage reactions, not sustained management reviews. Independent reporting observed that construction, stadium events, trains and low-flying aircraft make the area unlikely to be quiet, so the positive rating should be treated as early and weak evidence of a resident’s year-long experience.

7.5/ 10
—/ 10
7.5/ 10

Google Reviews/Maps is the only published building-specific rating located, at 4.5/5 from four reviews; because its review base is below ten, the score is kept within one point of 6.5 rather than using the unrestrained 8.5 conversion. The single accessible written review is mixed and raises only a minor convenience issue, with no recurring complaint or structural evidence to move the result further. The building was reported completed in 2024, and first residents moved in by March 2025, so the review record remains early and sparse as of October 10, 2026.

+ Resident lounge+ Workspace+ Gym+ Park and garden views+ Open status
− Parking difficulty− Unclear building signage− Early resident occupancy
Not found in sources: Limited review evidence · No recurring themes established

no notes returned

no links returned

The only accessible review gives a practical convenience complaint rather than a management or amenity assessment: “Not great for parking, drove past it twice as no sign stating building name.” Published building information describes a residents lounge, workspace and gym, but those are advertised facilities rather than resident review findings; the review evidence is therefore too thin to establish recurring day-to-day strengths or weaknesses.

—/ 10
7.3/ 10

The largest published review aggregate located is Google Reviews/Maps at 4.1/5 from 21 reviews, converting to 7.3/10 under the specified curve. Positive commentary centers on amenities, design and leasing staff, while negative commentary identifies operational friction around rooftop access, reception coverage and valet/management response; the evidence does not support a STRUCTURE score.

+ New construction+ Modern finishes+ State-of-the-art appliances+ Natural light+ LEED Gold certified
Not found in sources: No recurring structural complaint established · No published leak finding · No published plumbing failure established · No published HVAC failure established · No published electrical failure established
+ Strong amenity package+ Professional leasing staff+ Responsive tour experience+ Quiet courtyard+ Convenient onsite retail
− Rooftop crowding− Shared Equinox access− Front-desk understaffing− Valet damage complaint− Management responsiveness complaint

Published reviews praise the residences’ “state-of-the-art appliances,” natural light, stone details and warm wood finishes. The sources reviewed did not publish a recurring complaint about the framework, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, leaks or waterproofing; therefore no STRUCTURE rating is reported.

Daily-life feedback is split: residents and visitors praise the “next-level” amenities, peaceful courtyard, onsite retail and leasing staff who were “professional” and “truly responsive.” Against that, reviewers report that Equinox members crowd the rooftop, reception was unattended, and a valet damage incident received no satisfactory management resolution.

7.2/ 10
Zumper 9/10, 10/10, 9/10, 8/10 · no review count · zumper.com
Combined from 4 published figures on 1 platform, weighted by review count, adjusted for where resident ratings usually fall and weighted toward the 6.5 midpoint where reviews are few: 7.2.

Zumper is the only located building-specific platform publishing an overall rating, 8.3/10, but it states no review count and no individual reviews were readable. Under the rule for a rating base below 10, the score is held within one point of 6.5; the available commentary supports a positive living assessment, while the 6/10 quality component prevents a higher result.

+ Strong amenities+ Convenient location+ Quick management communication+ Fitness and yoga facilities+ Resident social spaces
− Quality rated 6/10
Not found in sources: No individual review text · No published maintenance score · No published security score · No published cleanliness score

The available building-specific review-platform material is thin: Zumper publishes an overall property rating of 8.3/10 and says price, amenities and location each receive 9/10, while its quality component is 6/10. Its commentary says communication with management or leasing staff is “usually quick and easy,” but no individual resident review text or separately published maintenance, security or cleanliness rating was available.

Only buildings that have reached handover are rated. 3 of 7 projects carry no rating: a building still under construction is never asked about, one that has just been handed over may not have been reached yet, and the rest were asked about and no published resident commentary was found. Structure is fixed at handover and stays the developer's; management and living belongs to whoever runs the building now. The overall verdict weights both rather than averaging them. None of this is checked: a rating is what people published about a building, aggregated — it is not evidence, it cannot move a delay figure, and it is not part of the delivery record above.

Projects

Assessment coverage

Completed projects: 2016-10-15 through 2026-10-15. Initial research is capped at 10 completed projects and a separate delivery-risk search capped at 7 findings. Risk findings are not project assessment counts. Absence is not proof of a complete portfolio or no failures. Month-level dates overlapping a boundary are excluded from figures.

1 undated completions and 0 boundary-uncertain completions are retained but excluded from figures.

Stalled, cancelled & overdue projects

0 evidenced cases
The capped delivery-risk search ran; no project-level exception cases are recorded here. Risk findings are listed under Risks and are separate from assessed projects. This does not establish that the developer has no delivery failures.

DELIVERY DELAY Reported February 6, 2021
As reported on February 6, 2021, Related no longer provided an estimated completion date for the full Hudson Yards project after the pandemic left the second phase—including eight planned buildings—on indefinite hold; the report also noted hundreds of unsold condominiums and a distressed retail component. This was a contemporaneous status report, not evidence that the project was permanently abandoned.
LEGAL Court decision August 10, 2022; lawsuit filed July 22, 2021
On August 10, 2022, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against Related alleging that affordable-housing residents at 15 Hudson Yards were segregated from luxury condominium residents through a separate entrance, lower floors, separate elevators and restricted amenities; the court held that the complaint failed to state a Fair Housing Act claim and dismissed the case.
SAFETY / LABOUR Reported February 18, 2020; claims arose from 2013 through early 2020
A February 18, 2020 report said court records showed nearly 150 personal-injury lawsuits by construction workers connected with the Hudson Yards site since 2013, including allegations involving falls, falling equipment, scaffolding and inadequate safety equipment; Related’s representative said the project involved about 25,000 workers and that high safety standards were maintained, while noting that many cases appeared to have settled or remained ongoing.
LEGAL Reported September 24, 2024; lawsuit filed in September 2024
In September 2024, Related CEO Jeff Blau sued seven Hudson Yards EB-5 investors for alleged harassment and sought an injunction; the investors said they would continue protesting until Related returned their $500,000 investments, while Related alleged that the investments were not overdue and that distributions had been optional.
PROJECT CANCELLED Cancellation reported April 7–12, 2017; the original 2017 start was not met.
Related Group cancelled the planned Auberge Residences & Spa Miami condo project after delaying its originally planned 2017 groundbreaking, closing the sales center and returning buyers’ deposits; later reporting said the cancellation was confirmed by a Related spokesman.
DELIVERY DELAY Court stay reported March 26–27, 2026; hearing scheduled for May 19, 2026.
Related Companies’ West Chelsea NYCHA redevelopment was temporarily blocked by an appellate-court restraining order, delaying a project that was supposed to begin in December 2025; NYCHA said it would await the appeal’s final decision, so this was a live legal delay rather than a cancellation as of the report.
DELIVERY DELAY Original completion commitment: 2024; indefinite hold/no estimated completion date reported September 2020 and February 2021.
The second phase of Related Companies’ Hudson Yards development missed its stated 2024 completion target and was reported in 2020–2021 as having no replacement completion date and being on indefinite hold pending the platform over the rail yard; later status is not established by the retrieved evidence.
DELIVERY DELAY Related’s withdrawal reported January 31, 2025; the May 2025 affordable-housing deadline was an earlier commitment.
Related Companies withdrew from a contemplated joint venture to take over the remaining Pacific Park sites, leaving the long-stalled project without that proposed developer while 876 affordable apartments were due by May 2025 and had not been built; this concerns a contemplated JV and does not by itself establish liability for the project’s prior delays.
PROJECT CANCELLED Project abandonment reported October 2024; audit reporting published May 13, 2025.
The University of Illinois abandoned the Discovery Partners Institute facility planned to anchor Related Midwest’s The 78 development, after preliminary work and roughly $30 million in public spending; the university pivoted to a quantum-focused campus elsewhere, while Related Midwest said it remained committed to The 78.
