Jeddah Tower (formerly Kingdom Tower) experienced a documented construction stoppage from 2017 after only a few dozen floors had been built; the project is associated with Jeddah Economic Company and Sumou Holding through the Alinma Jeddah Economic City Fund, and reporting in 2024–2025 says construction had restarted, so this is historical delay rather than an assertion that the project remained stalled as of the research date.
DELIVERY DELAY Acquisition reported 2021-01-05; the underlying project failure predates the acquisition and is older unresolved material history.
