On September 27, 2026, Masr Times reported that Upwyde property owners alleged unlawful extra charges, threats and interference with access to utilities and units across several Upwyde projects, and said they had filed multiple delivery/compensation lawsuits and a complaint with the Cabinet; the report presented these as allegations and did not report a court judgment or resolution.
